Description
The
Program discusses plant shutdown frequency planning,
milestone and task/activity scheduling; selection
and responsibilities of the turnaround manager and
turnaround team. It provides details on the five
phases of a plant turnaround; the master work list
and work package development, and setting the formal
work list cut-off date. The master milestone
schedule and master execution are discussed along
with a comprehensive contractor management plan. A
special concern is given to manpower efficiency and
costly transition points with their affect on work
progress momentum. Safety and Quality Assurance are
presented as positive benefits to the schedule and
budget.
